Paul Venker Honored with Leadership Award for Civic Engagement
The Royal Vagabonds Foundation recognized attorney Paul Venker with a 2022 Leadership Award for civic engagement at a recent Leadership Luncheon.
The Royal Vagabonds Foundation annually recognizes outstanding individuals who are making positive contributions to the St. Louis community in the areas of diversity and inclusion, business and economic development, health, and family and children care.
Venker is active in the legal community, currently serving as Chairman of the Freedom Suits Steering Committee – a committee responsible for organizing the construction of a Freedom Suits Memorial in downtown St. Louis honoring courageous slave plaintiffs who sued for their freedom in the decades leading up to the war. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and a past president of the St. Louis Bar Foundation. His practice with the firm is focused on trials and appeals.
Founded in 1930, the Royal Vagabonds Foundation provides services, resources, and monetary contributions to local individuals and organizations involved in improving the lives and living conditions of those in need.
