Nick Ruble to Present at KCMBA CLE on "Best Practices Before the Administrative Agencies"

Baker Sterchi attorney Nick Ruble will present at the “Best Practices Before the Administrative Agencies” CLE hosted by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) on May 18.

The CLE program will cover “best practices” involved in navigating the administrative process, including what makes a good complaint, what makes a good position statement, how the agencies are looking at these cases, differences in the agencies’ processing, and more. It will also address any litigation related to recent public hearings, lawsuits, or appeals decisions.

Ruble will be presenting on the topic of preparing effective position statements in response to an EEOC/MCHR Charge of Discrimination from a defense/employer's perspective.

Ruble is an experienced employment and labor law attorney, serving as co-vice chair of KCMBA’s Labor & Employment Law Committee and vice chair of Baker Sterchi’s Employment & Labor Law Practice Group. He is also a member of DRI’s Employment and Labor Law Committee and a steering committee member of ALFA International’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. Ruble earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.

The CLE program will be held at the KCMBA Event Center starting at 4:00 PM, and as a live webinar. KCMBA members can register here (login required).
