Thomas Sterchi Recognized as a Kansas City Business Journal 2018 "Best of the Bar" Honoree

Thomas Sterchi has been selected as a Kansas City Business Journal 2018 “Best of the Bar” honoree. Published annually for over 15 years, “Best of the Bar” recognizes top attorneys with at least 10 years of professional practice in the Kansas City metropolitan area, including Johnson, Leavenworth and Wyandotte counties in Kansas, and Jackson, Clay, Cass, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri.

Prior to 2017, attorneys named to the “Best of the Bar” list were selected pursuant to a peer-review voting process, with 200 or more attorneys being recognized each year. In a change to the selection process in 2017, nominees are now evaluated on professional reputation, involvement in significant cases or transactions, and civil Involvement, by a panel of top people in the profession, with only 48 attorneys being selected as honorees in 2017 and 56 in 2018.

2018 honorees will be recognized at a reception on October 25 at the Carriage Club and in a special section of the Kansas City Business Journal that will be published on October 26.

Sterchi has been recognized as a top lawyer by other publications, including Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers® in America, LMG Life Sciences, Martindale-Hubbell, Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers, and Who’s Who Legal. Most recently, he was selected for inclusion in the 2019 edition of The Best Lawyers in America© as the Kansas City Metropolitan area Product Liability Litigation – Defendants “Lawyer of the Year.”
