Garrett Hurst is a civil defense litigator with a practice focused on personal injury, premises liability and product liability cases.
Garrett earned his law degree with honors from St. Louis University School of Law in 2023, ranking in the top 10% of his class. During law school, he was actively involved in various roles, including membership in the Sports and Entertainment Law Association, serving as a Notes and Comment Editor for the ABA Labor and Employment Law Journal and working as legal research and writing teaching assistant. He also contributed as a note-taker for Disability Services and aided Prof. Antonia Miceli in the Office of Academic and Bar Exam Success. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. Louis University, magna cum laude, where he served as a Lead Resident Advisor and volunteered his time as a tutor at Firm Foundations.
Before becoming an associate at our firm, Garrett gained legal experience in various roles. He served as a law clerk at another law firm in the St. Louis area, worked as a summer associate at Baker Sterchi and held the position of a faculty fellow for a professor at SLU Law. Additionally, he gained valuable insights into the judicial system by serving as a judicial extern for Judge Pitlyk in the Eastern District of Missouri.
