Megan Stumph-Turner to Present on Emerging Issues in Debt Collection and Loan Servicing
On September 7, Baker Sterchi Member Megan Stumph-Turner will co-present the Lawline CLE course, “Emerging Issues in Debt Collection and Loan Servicing Litigation.” The CLE program will identify current litigation trends involving FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and related UDAP claims; discuss strategies for preventing and defending against these claims; and examine recent advisory opinions relating to these statutes and predict future litigation trends based on regulatory guidance.
Stumph-Turner is located in Baker Sterchi’s Kansas City office. Her civil litigation practice includes creditors’ rights, financial services, real estate, construction, and commercial litigation. She is a frequent panelist and speaker at financial services legal conferences and has provided onsite training services concerning state-specific and nationwide legal trends affecting the financial services industry.
