On June 12, Baker Sterchi Member Phil Sumner will serve as a panelist at the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) Focus Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The session, “Assessing Reform Efforts on Time-Limited Demands,” will address strategies for leveraging statutory defenses in time-limited demand cases and highlight potential pitfalls and loopholes that may affect insurers.
Sumner is a trial lawyer who has tried multiple cases to both juries and judges. He defends insurers and their insureds in matters involving construction defects, product liability, personal injury and premises liability. He is a member of CLM’s Construction Claims Committee, serves on the steering committee of ALFA International’s Construction Practice Group, and is also a member of DRI’s Construction Law Committee. He is licensed to practice in Missouri.
