Baker Sterchi attorney Michelle Meloche, based in the firm’s St. Louis office, has been appointed co-vice chair of the American Health Law Association (AHLA) Health Care Liability and Litigation Practice Group. Her term runs through 2028.
A member of the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group, Meloche defends hospitals, physicians and other health care providers in medical malpractice matters. She also chairs the Healthcare Liability Committee of the Professional Liability Defense Federation and is active in several other professional organizations, including the ABA Health Law Section, DRI Medical Liability and Health Care Law Committee, Illinois State Bar Association Health Care Law and Mental Health Section, and the St. Louis Area Health Lawyers Association.
Meloche earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law with a concentration in health law and holds a Master of Public Health in health management and policy from the same institution. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.
