On Sept. 9, Baker Sterchi member David Schneidewind will co-present “Environmental Regulatory Requirements for Brownfield Sites” at the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) General Counsel Symposium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The session will cover opportunities in Brownfields development and strategies to manage environmental risks that can delay projects.
Schneidewind, based in the firm’s Belleville office, represents governmental entities and railroads in matters involving regulatory compliance, environmental issues and litigation. He is a member of ASLRRA’s General Counsel Committee and co-chairs Baker Sterchi’s Governmental Agencies/Public Entities Practice Group.
Schneidewind earned his law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee.
