On Sept. 26, Baker Sterchi Member Mark Budzinski co-presented the session, “Informed Consent: Is the Duty Expanding After the Hubbard Decision?” at the annual Wisconsin Society for Healthcare Risk Management (WSHRM) Fall Conference in Delafield, Wisconsin. The session covered the duty to provide informed consent, situations where it may apply and the impact of the Hubbard decision.
Budzinski has litigated hundreds of cases in Wisconsin state and federal courts, including more than 70 jury trials. He has represented a wide range of clients, from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, handling matters including catastrophic injuries, quadriplegia, wrongful death claims and contract disputes.
He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel and National Board of Trial Advocacy. Budzinski earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is licensed to practice in Wisconsin, Michigan and the United States Court of Federal Claims.
