Experienced Litigator Lee Hurwitz Joins Baker Sterchi's Illinois Team
Experienced litigator Lee Hurwitz has joined Baker Sterchi as a Member in the firm’s Belleville office. Although associated with Belleville, he is based in the Chicago area and regularly practices in courts throughout the region, further strengthening the firm’s presence alongside fellow Chicago-based attorney Justin Borawski.
Hurwitz concentrates his practice on toxic tort, product liability, premises liability and trucking matters. He has extensive experience handling insurance defense cases involving personal injury and subrogation claims and has prepared numerous cases for jury trial, serving as solo lead counsel in nearly a dozen verdicts.

Hurwitz earned his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Wisconsin and Missouri.
