Baker Sterchi Member Kehl Friesen will serve as a panelist on the ALFA International (ALFA) Product Liability & Complex Torts webinar “Recent Developments in Product Liability: Are Rideshare Applications Entering the Product Liability Arena?” on Dec. 4. The program will address a March 2025 ruling finding that a rideshare app could be considered a product subject to Missouri product liability law.
Friesen defends personal injury, product liability, premises liability and general liability matters. He is program chair of ALFA’s Gig Economy Practice Group and previously served as the group’s marketing chair. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for his work in both personal injury and product liability litigation in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Friesen earned his law degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.
