On March 26, Baker Sterchi Member Lee Hurwitz will speak at the 2026 CLM Annual Conference held March 25-27 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Florida. His session, “Laying the Groundwork: How Jury Selection Anchors Case Theory,” will discuss practical tools for identifying case themes early, converting them into purposeful voir dire questions and using juror responses to refine trial strategy.
Hurwitz concentrates his practice on toxic tort, product liability, premises liability and trucking matters. He regularly handles insurance defense cases involving personal injury and subrogation claims and has prepared numerous matters for jury trial, including serving as lead trial counsel in multiple verdicts. Hurwitz is a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association and DRI’s Asbestos Litigation Committee. He earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and is licensed to practice in Illinois, Wisconsin and Missouri.
