Baker Sterchi Member Bob Christie authored “AI in the Courtroom,” published in the July/August 2026 issue of For The Defense, a DRI publication. The article examines practical applications of artificial intelligence in trial preparation and courtroom presentations while emphasizing the importance of accuracy, ethical compliance and attorney oversight.
Based in the firm’s Seattle office, Christie defends professionals, businesses, governmental entities, law enforcement officers and individuals in high-exposure matters. He co-chairs Baker Sterchi’s Trial & Appellate Practice Group and serves as chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel’s Trial Techniques and Tactics Committee and on the board of Lawyers for Civil Justice. Christie is admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon and Idaho, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court.
