Baker Sterchi attorney Christa Keel has been elected to the Wisconsin Defense Counsel (WDC) Board of Directors during the organization’s Annual Business Meeting on Aug. 13.
As a member of the board, Keel will support WDC’s efforts to provide professional education and development opportunities for defense attorneys while promoting collegiality, diversity and inclusion and equal access to justice.
Based in Baker Sterchi’s Madison office, Keel represents clients in civil litigation, medical malpractice defense, professional liability and insurance matters. She is a member of DRI’s Litigation Skills Committee, Professional Liability Committee, Women in the Law Committee and Young Lawyers Committee. She is also a member of WDC’s Young Lawyer Committee. Keel earned her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law and is licensed to practice in Wisconsin.
Founded in 1962, WDC is a statewide organization that provides educational, professional development and networking opportunities for defense attorneys.
