Megan Coluccio Appointed to Four ABA TIPS Leadership Roles


Baker Sterchi Member Megan Coluccio has been appointed to four leadership roles within the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) for the 2026-2027 term. In these roles, she will support professional development, continuing legal education, networking and collaboration among members.

Coluccio will serve as chair-elect of the Membership Standing Committee, co-chair of the Referral and Business Generation Task Force and vice-chair of both the Business Litigation General Committee and Women Trial Lawyers General Committee. She will also serve as a member on the Section Conference Standing Committee and the Committee on Outreach to Young Lawyers Standing Committee.

Based in Baker Sterchi’s Seattle office, Coluccio is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on defending complex civil rights, professional negligence, municipal liability and catastrophic injury claims. She co-chairs the firm’s Law Enforcement & Civil Rights Defense and Trial & Appellate practice groups and holds leadership roles in several national legal organizations. Coluccio is admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon and Idaho and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

The ABA is a national organization dedicated to advancing the legal profession and supporting the rule of law. TIPS focuses on trial practice and issues involving tort and insurance law.
