Katherine Cortesy to Present at WSHRM Fall Conference; Baker Sterchi Sponsors

Baker Sterchi attorney Katherine Cortesy will present at the Wisconsin Society for Healthcare Risk Management (WSHRM) Fall 2026 Conference on Sept. 11 in Delafield, Wisconsin. The firm is a sponsor of the event.

Cortesy’s session, “Pro Se Litigant Workflow and Issues from a Legal and Risk Management Viewpoint,” will address practical considerations in matters involving self-represented litigants, including workflow challenges and legal and risk management issues affecting healthcare organizations.

Based in Baker Sterchi’s Madison office, Cortesy focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, product liability and medical malpractice. She is a member of the Wisconsin Defense Counsel’s Women in the Law Committee and Young Lawyer Committee. Cortesy earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and is licensed to practice in Wisconsin.

WSHRM provides education and networking opportunities for professionals involved in healthcare risk management and patient safety throughout Wisconsin.
