Megan Sterchi Lammert to Speak at ALFA Product Liability & Complex Torts Seminar

On Sept. 17, Baker Sterchi Member Megan Sterchi Lammert will serve as a panelist for “From Tangible Goods to Digital Code: The Expanding Scope of Product Liability” during ALFA International’s 2026 Product Liability & Complex Torts Practice Group Seminar. The seminar will take place Sept. 16-18 in Park City, Utah.

The panel will examine how courts are reconsidering what constitutes a product as businesses increasingly combine software and services with tangible goods. Panelists will discuss emerging legal developments, recent decisions involving digital products and practical considerations for evaluating risk and developing defense strategies.

Based in Baker Sterchi’s Kansas City office, Sterchi Lammert defends personal injury, premises liability and product liability matters for clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device, manufacturing, trucking and insurance industries. She serves as regional chair of ALFA’s Product Liability & Complex Torts Practice Group and as program chair for the 2026 seminar. Sterchi Lammert is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.
