Baker Sterchi Welcomes David Schneidewind in Belleville
David Schneidewind joins Baker Sterchi as a Member in the firm’s Belleville office, where he represents railroads in Federal Employers Liability Act cases, handles toxic tort matters, insurance defense, and deals with general corporate matters and land issues. He also represents governmental entities in general corporate matters, administrative matters, and litigation, and doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice litigation.
He serves as legal counsel to St. Clair County ETSB-911 and the Zoning Board of Appeals of St. Clair County, Illinois, as well as a special Assistant State’s Attorney in St. Clair County. He is also an arbitrator for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court and has served as a mediator in various UIM matters.
Schneidewind earned his law degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee.
