Guntli and Ruble Recognized with 2023 Up & Coming Awards

Missouri Lawyers Media has released a list of 54 attorneys who are set to be recognized with its 2023 Up & Coming Awards, including Baker Sterchi attorneys Nicholas Ruble from Kansas City and Rebecca Guntli from St. Louis.

The annual Up & Coming Awards recognize early-career lawyers who have demonstrated professional excellence while positively impacting their profession and communities. Eligible candidates for the award include legal professionals who are 40 years old or younger or within the first 10 years of practice.

Guntli excels in litigating insurance defense matters encompassing product liability, premises liability, personal injury claims and coverage issues. She consistently takes on challenging projects and cases that require special attention in preparation for trial. Since 2021, she has been recognized in the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers Rising Stars publication, and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America (St. Louis Metropolitan Area) has acknowledged her achievements in commercial litigation, personal injury litigation-defendants, and product liability litigation-defendants.

Ruble is an accomplished civil litigation defense attorney with extensive experience in employment, labor, business and personal injury law. He serves as Vice Chair of the Baker Sterchi Employment & Labor Practice Group and plays a valuable role on both the Recruiting & Retention Committee and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Ruble also actively contributes to the firm’s Employment Law Blog and serves as a mentor to young attorneys. Outside the firm, he serves as Co-Vice Chair of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Labor & Employment Committee, a Steering Committee Member of the ALFA International Employment & Labor Committee, and a frequent speaker on employment and labor issues.

Missouri Lawyers Media will celebrate all Up & Coming Award honorees at a ceremony on Thursday, October 12 in Fenton, Missouri, and will recognize them in a special section in its October magazine.
