Greg Odom to Moderate Illinois Defense Counsel Career Panel at SIU Law

Baker Sterchi Member and Illinois Defense Counsel (IDC) Second Vice President Greg Odom organized and will moderate “Life After Law School: Insights from the Bench and Bar” on Sept. 17 at the Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale. The panel is being held in conjunction with IDC’s Executive Committee Meeting.

The program will offer law students perspectives on transitioning from law school to the legal profession. Panelists will share insights drawn from private practice, corporate counsel, judicial clerkships and service on the bench.

Based in Baker Sterchi’s Belleville office, Odom co-chairs the firm’s Toxic Tort Practice Group and defends clients in toxic tort and commercial litigation in Illinois and Missouri state and federal courts. In addition to serving as IDC’s second vice president, he is a member of its Executive Committee and board.
