Gregorio Silva Serves as Kansas State High School Mock Trial Competition Judge
On Feb. 22, Baker Sterchi Member Gregorio Silva served as a volunteer judge at the Kansas State High School Mock Trial Competition held at the Wyandotte County District Court. Hosted by the Kansas Bar Association, the mock trial competition judges witness the next generation's lawyers in action while helping shape their development.
Silva co-chairs Baker Sterchi’s Financial Services Practice Group and has a diverse civil litigation practice defending clients in the financial services, transportation and propane industries. He is a Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity Success in Law School Program mentor, Fellows Program alumnus and a 2024 recipient of the organization’s Fellows Atlas Award. Silva serves on Baker Sterchi’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and is also a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association.
Based in the firm’s Kansas City office, Silva earned his law degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas, Alaska, Arizona, California and Nevada.
