Hayley Hollis is an associate in the firm's Portland office, focusing on complex commercial and business litigation, construction law, insurance coverage and bad faith, personal injury defense, premises liability, product liability, employment and professional and management liability.
She earned her JD cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she served as executive editor of the Lewis & Clark Law Review and president of If/When/How, an organization dedicated to reproductive justice. With an extensive background in communication studies, Hayley applies her skills to produce high-quality deliverables and build strong client relationships.
Before becoming an attorney, Hayley was a college communications professor specializing in public speaking, as well as a high school speech and debate teacher and coach. She found great joy in helping students find their voice and advocate for themselves. Her deep understanding of communication allows her to effectively evaluate and build rapport with others, using these skills to advocate fervently for her clients.
Outside of work, Hayley enjoys traveling and attending live music events, particularly when she can combine the two. Whether it's a short weekend trip to Seattle or the coast, or an overseas adventure, she embraces new experiences. She also visits her family and friends in the Hill Country of Texas whenever she can.
