Jackie Longfellow and Nick Ruble Article on Preliminary Injunctions Published in ISBA Newsletter
Baker Sterchi Members Jackie Longfellow and Nick Ruble’s co-authored article, “Traditional Equitable Principles Guide NLRB Section 10(j) Preliminary Injunctions,” was recently featured in the August edition of the Illinois State Bar Association’s (ISBA) Labor & Employment Law section newsletter. The article is focused on the Supreme Court’s rejection of special injunction rules for NLRB cases, ultimately applying traditional equitable framework.
Longfellow is a civil defense trial lawyer focused on labor and employment matters. She frequently speaks on employer-related issues and serves on the steering committee for ALFA International’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. Longfellow is Chair of Baker Sterchi’s Employment & Labor Practice Group and is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Missouri Attorney General’s Office Kansas City Trial Masters Team. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.
Ruble is an experienced employment and labor law attorney and Vice-Chair of Baker Sterchi’s Employment & Labor Practice Group. He serves as a steering committee member of ALFA International’s Labor & Employment Practice Group, Co-Chair of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Committee, and is a member of DRI’s Employment and Labor Law Committee. Ruble is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, including the Greater Kansas City Chapter, and is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri.
