Joshua Topel

Joshua M. Topel represents clients in a variety of civil defense matters, focusing on insurance defense and personal injury litigation. He works to help clients navigate legal challenges efficiently and develop resolutions that align with their goals. He works with insurers and healthcare providers in matters involving personal injury and medical malpractice claims, as well as with companies in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors to address complex liability issues. By emphasizing understanding, trust and informed decision-making, Joshua builds collaborative relationships with clients and supports practical case strategies tailored to their needs.

While earning his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Joshua worked with the Consumer Law Clinic assisting individuals facing wage garnishment and other consumer debt matters. He also contributed to a property tax appeal initiative serving Detroit residents and supported research related to local property tax reform efforts. In addition, he volunteers with the Small Claims Assistance Program at the Dane County Courthouse, helping community members better navigate the court process.
