On October 20, Baker Sterchi Member Kara Stubbs will participate in a panel discussion titled “Law Firm Management: How Recruitment and Retention Efforts Will Shape the Law Firm of the Future” at the ALFA International (ALFA) Annual Business Meeting in Dublin, Ireland.
The panel will provide insight into how ALFA member firms tackled the hybrid work environment and recruitment and retention issues. Attorney leaders with the Minnesota, Georgia, Ohio and New York ALFA member firms will join Stubbs on the panel. An attorney with the Louisiana ALFA member firm will moderate.
Stubbs has been an active member of the ALFA network, serving in numerous leadership roles, including as chair of the Board of Directors. In addition to serving on a panel at the Annual Business Meeting, she will complete her service as chair emeritus of the Board of Directors.
Stubbs has extensive product liability experience, particularly in defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. She is a frequent author and speaker on issues of interest to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and serves as a co-chair of Baker Sterchi’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Practice Group. Admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas, Stubbs received her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law.
