Baker Sterchi Member Kehl Friesen has been appointed chair of ALFA International’s Gig Economy & Emerging Tech Practice Group. He previously served as the group’s program chair.
As chair, Friesen will help guide the group’s programming, resources and opportunities for collaboration among attorneys from ALFA International member firms. The Gig Economy & Emerging Tech Practice Group brings together attorneys with experience in legal issues affecting technology companies, app-based platforms and other businesses operating within evolving technologies and workforce models.
Based in Baker Sterchi’s Kansas City office, Friesen represents clients in personal injury, product liability, gig economy, premises liability, employment and general liability matters. He works with clients across the automotive, construction, hospitality, healthcare, insurance and medical device industries. He is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.
