Laura Beasley to Assume DRI Illinois State Representative Position
Baker Sterchi Member Laura Beasley will transition from serving on the Board of DRI’s State and Local Defense Organization to Illinois State Representative for DRI’s 2024-2025 term at the Annual Meeting, October 16-18, in Seattle, Washington. She is also a Steering Committee member of DRI’s Drug and Medical Device Litigation Committee and a member of the Women in the Law Committee.
Beasley, located in the firm’s Belleville office, is an experienced trial lawyer with a practice focused on civil defense litigation. She is a past president of the IDC and currently serves on its Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She also holds board positions with the East St. Louis and St. Clair County Bar Associations, and is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys Executive Council Class of 2027.
