The Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA) has named Baker Sterchi Member Laura Beasley chair of the Women of the ADTA Committee for the upcoming term. Beasley previously served as vice chair of the committee and is a member of the board for the class of 2027.
Located in Baker Sterchi's Belleville office, Beasley is a board member of the Illinois Defense Counsel's Diversity Committee and a member of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She frequently speaks on diversity-related topics. A litigator, Beasley has handled nearly 50 jury trials in state and federal courts and has represented clients at all phases of litigation, from pre-suit assessment and negotiation to alternative dispute resolution, trial, and appellate work. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri.
