Megan Stumph-Turner Serves as Table Captain at ALFA Business Litigation Seminar
On September 8-10, Baker Sterchi Member Megan Stumph-Turner served as a table captain at the ALFA International (ALFA) Business Litigation Seminar in Colorado Springs, CO.
Stumph-Turner led roundtable discussions within her small group regarding various legal issues presented in the hypothetical that underpinned each session of the seminar. Client and law firm attendees engaged in discussions concerning a variety of legal topics impacting businesses in recent years, including force majeure events, business torts, trade secret and unfair competition claims, and other hot legal topics arising out of the current market and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Stumph-Turner’s practice is focused on creditors’ rights, financial services, real estate, construction, and commercial litigation. She is a steering committee member of ALFA’s Business Litigation Practice Group and has been both panelist and speaker at financial services legal conferences. Stumph-Turner received her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and is admitted to practice in Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.
