On Feb. 20, Baker Sterchi Member Megan Stumph-Turner spoke at the online American Inns of Court Leadership Lab on Community Outreach which discussed the value community outreach provides to Inns and its members as well as how to craft a program. As President of the Earl E. O’Connor American Inn of Court in Prairie Village, Kansas, Stumph-Turner highlighted her Inn’s outreach program.
Community outreach activities extend the American Inns of Court mission by providing exposure to the broader community and offering opportunities for Inn members to represent the ideals of the American Inns of Court. The objectives of the Inn include promoting excellence in legal advocacy, ethics, civility, professionalism in the adversarial system and providing education to enhance lawyers’ skills. It also aims to foster ethical conduct and collegiality among legal professionals.
Stumph-Turner represents business clients across various industries, focusing on financial services, real estate, construction and other commercial litigation. She is the co-chair of the firm's Financial Services Practice Group. Licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa, she has previously served as the Inn’s community outreach chair, secretary, vice president and president-elect.Recent Speaking Engagements
