Noemi Donovan focuses her practice on surety and construction litigation matters, premises liability, and general business and civil litigation. She has represented numerous surety companies on a wide variety of bond matters in Missouri and Kansas, including performance bonds, public official bonds, wage and welfare bonds, motor vehicle dealer bonds, notary bonds and indemnification claims. She also has worked with lending and financial institutions on loan origination and creditor issues.
Noemi has served as both plaintiff’s counsel and defense counsel in civil trials and motion arguments before state and federal courts and has argued multiple cases before the Kansas and Missouri Courts of Appeals. She also brings an in-house counsel perspective from her time with a software as a service company, giving her additional insight into the business considerations clients face when managing corporate legal and contracting issues.
Her prior experience also includes practicing in Ohio, where she represented clients in all phases of litigation and worked as a lobbyist at the state and federal levels. While in law school, she worked in the legal department of a Fortune 500 company and for the United States District Court, District of Minnesota.
