Patrick Franken is an associate in Baker Sterchi’s Kansas City office, focusing his practice on business, construction, and surety and fidelity law. Before joining the firm, Patrick served for five years as an Assistant District Attorney in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, where he worked in the Drug and Gun Units. In that role, he prosecuted felony drug and non-fatal shooting cases, managing hundreds of cases simultaneously and conducting 27 jury trials.
Patrick’s background as a prosecutor honed his ability to address complex issues on the fly, handle multiple witnesses and exhibits, and effectively present cases to juries. These skills translate seamlessly to civil litigation, allowing him to efficiently research legal issues, assess cases and conduct thorough depositions.
Patrick earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2019 and is admitted to practice in Wisconsin. His Missouri law license is currently pending.
