Rachel Schafer Recognized with 2025 Missouri Lawyers Media Up & Coming Award
Baker Sterchi attorney Rachel Schafer has been named a 2025 Up & Coming honoree by Missouri Lawyers Media, joining a select group of attorneys from around the state to receive the award.
The annual Up & Coming Award honors early-career lawyers who have demonstrated professional excellence while positively impacting their profession and communities. Eligible candidates include legal professionals who are 40 years old or younger or within the first 10 years of practice.
Schafer, located in the firm’s St. Louis office, defends medical malpractice claims against healthcare providers. She is a member of DRI’s Medical Liability & Health Care Law Committee and has been recognized in Super Lawyers Rising Stars since 2020. She earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Texas Lutheran University. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and New Mexico.
Missouri Lawyers Media will celebrate the 2025 honorees at a ceremony Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
