Salim Lewis

Associate in Seattle

Salim Lewis is a dedicated attorney at Baker Sterchi, where he leverages his professionalism, organization and intellect to serve clients effectively in numerous areas of civil defense litigation, including premises liability, police liability, medical malpractice, and product liability. He began his legal career as a full-time paralegal from 2010 to 2017 while also working as a Rule 6 Legal Intern under the mentorship of Bob Christie. This dual experience provided him with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the legal field. He passed the bar in 2017, transitioning into his role as an attorney.

Salim earned his undergraduate degree from Fordham University, where he also played varsity soccer. He is admitted to practice in Washington State and the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition to his work at Baker Sterchi, Salim volunteers with the King County Neighborhood Legal Clinic-Downtown, offering his legal experience to support the community. Outside of his professional life, he is an avid Seattle Sounders and New York Knicks fan, and enjoys exploring all of the culture and natural beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
