Sara Rakowiecki is a civil defense litigator, focusing her practice on representing clients in labor and employment-related cases and insurance defense, including insurance coverage, bad faith, extra contractual liability, employment, personal injury, medical malpractice and premises liability cases. Sara regularly defends companies and individuals in lawsuits in state and federal courts. She also handles bad faith and garnishment actions in a broad range of first-party and third-party claims that often have an element of potential extra contractual exposure. She guides clients through all stages of the litigation process, from pre-litigation negotiations to the final resolution of disputes.
Sara has defended clients in high-stakes bad faith and tort actions, including personal injury, wrongful death and premises liability claims. She routinely defends employers facing charges of discrimination filed with local, state, and federal agencies.
Sara obtained her law degree from the Saint Louis University School of Law. During her time there, she made a mark as the Note & Comment Editor for the Law Journal and actively participated in Moot Court and Trial Advocacy. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas.
