Shore and Watt Named to Missouri Lawyers Media Construction Law POWER List
Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice Kansas City Members Heather Shore and John Watt have been named to the 2026 Missouri Lawyers Media Construction Law POWER List, which recognizes attorneys representing contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and property owners in construction-related matters.
Shore has nearly 30 years of experience representing clients in construction, surety and commercial litigation. She serves on the American Arbitration Association’s panels of construction, commercial and consumer arbitrators and is president of the Kansas Bar Association’s Construction Law Section. She is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado and Texas.
Watt represents businesses in litigation involving construction, product liability and toxic tort claims. He has extensive trial experience in state and federal courts and has handled hundreds of expert depositions, appellate arguments and arbitration proceedings. He serves as chair of the ALFA International Construction Practice Group and is a member of the National Bond Claims Association. He is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas and Massachusetts.
Shore and Watt serve as co-chairs of Baker Sterchi’s Construction Practice Group.
