She earned her law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her undergraduate degree in political science from William Jewell College. She is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa.

Simpson is located in Baker Sterchi’s St. Louis office. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice, premises liability, personal injury, and product liability defense. She has extensive experience representing physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and insurance companies.

Simpson serves as the Women’s Affinity Group Liaison (St. Louis/Belleville) to the firm’s Diversity Committee and has organized both in-person and webinar events focused on women, and is a mentor to female associates inside and outside the firm. She is Chair-Elect of the Women in the Legal Profession Section of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, a member of the Defense Research Institute’s Women in the Law Committee, and a member of the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis. She is a frequent author and speaker on women’s issues. She earned her law degree from Indiana University and her J.D. from the University of Dayton. She is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

All award winners will be recognized at a Women’s Justice Awards event on Oct. 21 at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis and will be profiled in a special section of Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
