Two Baker Sterchi Professionals Named 2025 Unsung Legal Heroes
Baker Sterchi professionals Jay Colon and Carol Eiskant have been named 2025 Unsung Legal Heroes by Missouri Lawyers Media. The award honors law firm staff who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes.
Colon, a litigation support supervisor, was recognized in the information technology category. Based in the firm’s Kansas City office, he coordinates electronic discovery and supports trial preparation and courtroom electronic presentation.
“Jay is one of those rare professionals who consistently delivers excellent results, regardless of the pressure,” said Charniece Rollie, director of administration.
Eiskant, a receptionist in the St. Louis office, was recognized in the administrative support specialist category. She helps create a welcoming and professional environment at the front desk and also serves on the firm’s conflicts team.
“Carol’s efforts behind the scenes uplift everyone and contribute to a positive workplace culture,” said Amy Nevad, director of operations.
Colon, Eiskant and the other 2025 honorees are featured in a special section of
Missouri Lawyers Weekly published July 11.
